Geocache Description:

The Elgin Trail runs 41 km from Port Stanley on Lake Erie to Southdel Bourne, following Kettle Creek and Dodds Creek, along some country roads for several kilometres, and then goes over the 401 and crosses a forest near the Green Lane landfill site. The trail is well marked with white blazes, but is not well-used, so it is overgrown at times.

This new series highlights the best hikes around the world, trails that we would someday like to hike on and enjoy. There are an assortment of caches along the Elgin trail commemorating these other trails.

The longest of England’s National Trails, the South West Coast Path offers 1,014 km of stunning coastal walking around the entire South West peninsula. Starting at Minehead in Somerset it runs along the coastline of Exmoor, continuing along the coast of North Devon into Cornwall. It follows the entire coastline of Cornwall, goes across the mouth of the River Tamar and continues into Devon. After running along the south coast of Devon it then follows the Dorset coastline before finally ending at Poole Harbour. With dramatic coastal scenery and breath-taking views of surrounding countryside and moorland, the Path takes 52 days, plus or minus, to hike the whole thing.

Opa Norshley helped me with the hides and the listing. Hope you like these.

The cache is in a tree just off the trail.
