Der Preußenfriedhof Breiteneich ist ein Soldatenfriedhof im Ort Breiteneich in der Stadtgemeinde Horn in Niederösterreich.
Während des Preußisch-Österreichischen Kriegs im Jahr 1866 brach in der preußischen Elbearmee die Cholera aus, der mindestens 122 Soldaten zum Opfer fielen. Durch den Truppenvormarsch verbreitete sich die Seuche auch in weiteren Teilen Niederösterreichs. Beim Durchmarsch quartierten sich Soldaten auch in der Umgebung von Horn ein.
Der Preußenfriedhof befindet sich am Waldrand zwischen der Doberndorfer Straße und einem Weg nach Breiteneich. Hier ruhen sechs preußische Soldaten, die beim Rückmarsch der Cholera zum Opfer fielen. „Ruhestätte der nach dem Feldzug in Horn von der Cholera dahingerafften preußischen Krieger“ steht auch auf dem Grabstein.
Einheimische, die von der durch die Soldaten eingeschleppten Cholera dahingerafft wurden, sind am Cholerafriedhof Maria Dreieichen bestattet.
Der Preußenfriedhof befindet sich nur einige Gehminuten ausserhalb von Horn und man gelangt über einen schmalen Pfad durch den Wald zum Denkmal, das anstatt des Friedhofes errichtet wurde. Der Friedhof selbst exsistiert nicht mehr.
Cache:
Starte beim Header und beim Eingang in den Wald siehst du schon die Wegmarkierungen. Auf der blaugelben Tafel mit dem Pfeil wurde händisch ein Datum ergänzt. Nimm die linke Zahl für A.
Gehe nun weiter in den Wald den Weg entlang, bis du zu Wegpunkt 01 kommst. Dort nimm den linken Weg und gehe so lange, bis zum Gedenkstein. Dort nimm die Quersumme der Jahreszahl (in der Mitte des Denkmals, Zeile 3) für B.
Nun mach es dir bequem und schau darunter. Zähle die Werte für "Ost" und "Nord" entsprechend dazu und du erhältst die Finalkoordinaten.

The Prussian Cemetery
The Breiteneich Prussian Cemetery is a military cemetery in the village of Breiteneich in the municipality of Horn in Lower Austria.
During the Prussian-Austrian War in 1866, cholera broke out in the Prussian Elbe Army and at least 122 soldiers fell victim to it. The epidemic spread to other parts of Lower Austria as a result of the advance of the troops. Soldiers quartered themselves in the area around Horn as they marched through.
The Prussian cemetery is located at the edge of the forest between Doberndorfer Straße and a path to Breiteneich. Six Prussian soldiers who fell victim to cholera on the return march rest here. "Resting place of the Prussian warriors who died of cholera after the campaign in Horn" is also written on the gravestone.
Locals who were carried off by the cholera brought in by the soldiers are buried at the Maria Dreieichen cholera cemetery.
The Prussian cemetery is located just a few minutes' walk outside Horn and a narrow path through the forest leads to the memorial, which was erected in place of the cemetery. The cemetery itself no longer exists.

Now go further into the forest along the path until you come to waypoint 01. There take the left path and walk until you reach the memorial stone. Take the sum of the digits of the year for B.
