This Geocache container is a small plastic screw top container (with Dinasaur hatching out of its egg).
Take the main path from the car park. Then follow the path closest to the shoreline. On your RHS will be two vertical boulders next to the path and a small gap with more stones.
HOPEMAN DINOSAURS
The land that time forgot when Dinosaurs roamed around Moray, during the Permian/Triassic periods. Some of you may think, I don’t remember that, probably because it was approximately 250 million years ago!
Around Hopeman beaches and coastline can be found lots of Permian and Triassic sandstone largely formed by (Aeolian deposits)?
Just along the coastline from here, stones were found in the Quarry, containing Dinosaur footprints, and if you have the time and patience, you could find some of your own.
