Let's start our extra day this year by cleaning up our playing board. This is Ada's (and Hardin County's) very first Cache In Trash Out event.
Event time is 7am to 8am to allow those that need to go to work or school on this date the ability to attend an early event and still make it there on time. Stop by, pick up some trash, have a little fun and head off to other commitments when you need to go.
We will meet in Ada's War Memorial Park parking lot (posted coordinates) at 7am and pick up trash around the football field, community building, along the street and then work our way towards the back of the park to the east as time permits. Permission from the park manager has been granted and are excited about our contribution to cleaning up this corner of the world.
As an added bonus, you can earn the “Leap Day 2024” souvenir by logging any four geocaches, Events, or Adventure Lab® Locations on February 29.
Please log your "Will Attend" so we can have a good idea of how many helping hands we will have and can divy up the work accordingly. If you can only attend part of the hour, please indicate that in your log also. Every bit of info you can give us the better.
If you have any of the following, you could bring gloves, boots or good work shoes, pickup stick or grabber, hi-vis vest, or anything else (5-gallon bucket, etc.) that will help you in picking up trash and debris.
