Good Morning Humboldt!
Arcata was first colonized in 1850 as Union, was officially established in 1858, and was renamed Arcata in 1860. Then the geocachers came and put it on the geocaching map, like in the early 2000's. The story goes there were some parrots 🦜 involved too!
An event either for very early cachers to take a break or for cachers that need a koffie to wake up before they get started a little later.
Per special request from one of our Premium Members, a special "quiet" table will be made available for those that are not yet ready to socialize this early.
Meet from give or take 8:57 am until about 9:31am, you know how it goes, the coffee is hot, the stories keep flowing...
Events provide excellent opportunity to ask someone to spill some beans about a hide or puzzle!
Rain or Shine, outside seating/table(s) (I am hopeful). The los bagels and los coffee here are great but not need to purchase to attend.
