Welcome to Cynthia Nye Marsh Hartsgrove Park! The park has picnic tables, a large playground for the kids, rest rooms, and a gravel hiking trail that is roughly a three-quarter mile loop. Please note that the entrance to the parking area is on the east side, while the exit is on the west.
Sunrise to sunset caching only!
Years ago this area was a roadside rest stop for travelers. As far as I can tell from my previous visits here before the area was converted to a park, the rest stop featured very few amenities. There were mainly benches and an old hand water pump which is still on the grounds and actually still works. With the creation of the park and the long hiking trail, there is now plenty of room for multiple caches. That's way better than a rest stop! Please heed the private property signs on the outer edge of the trail in certain locations. You should never have to go past any of these signs to find the cache. I hope you enjoy your time here! Note that tweezers might be helpful in extracting the logsheet.
