Welcome to Green Lawn Cemetery! This very well-kept cemetery is so big that it is made up of two sections, with a path through the woods that stretches between them. This cache is just off of that path, and the letterbox instructions should help guide you to it. Please be respectful to all who rest here.
Letterbox Clues
Begin your hunt at the posted coordinates where you should be able to see a trail down the slope that begins with a small bridge over a creek. Cross over the bridge and continue along the trail as it twists to the north for about 225 feet. At that point you should be even with two small wooden benches on either side of the trail.
When I first hiked this trail, there were one or two large fallen trees across the path that I had to step over, just before the benches. Those may be gone in the future if the cemetery maintenance crew works on them.
From the benches, go 30 to 35 feet farther up the trail to the north. Then turn left (west) and head into the woods. You will need to go in about 25 to 30 feet from the trail until you see two small trees with a pile of sticks lying between them. The cache should be hidden under the pile.
