Chancing upon a discarded paper, and thinking it to be litter, I picked it up and
had a look to see what was written on it. The characters were quite unfamiliar
and resembled some sort of alien alphabet.
I took the paper home and scrutinized it, scratching my chin. It seemed like
nonsense, but knowing that someone had taken the time to create patterns
of such complexity spurred me to put more effort into the translation.
Foreign languages were no use. Thinking there must be another twist, I then
did a few other things, then some more, hoping to understand its meaning.
Eventually, a pattern revealed itself!
At last, the puzzle was solved; after double checking things, I charted a path
to the solved location. I hurried to the coordinates, and was rewarded with a
hoard of gold bars!
The treasure was mine, but I thought it was an excellent idea to share the
adventure and challenge with my geocaching friends. An FTF prize awaits the
one who follows first in my footsteps. Happy caching!
