To the east of you, you'll see the gate of the Ta'as (תע"ש) facility in Ramat Hasharon. It is part of the Israeli Defense Force's (IDF) Military Industries, also known as IMI Systems, which is now a part of Elbit Systems. Ta'as has a rich history tied to the development and manufacturing of weapons, ammunition, and military technology in Israel (the Uzi submachine gun being a well known example). Established to ensure Israel's self-sufficiency in arms and defense capabilities, it played a crucial role in the country's early years when arms embargoes made it difficult to procure weapons from abroad.
The cache is located in a small forest south of the Ta'as gate, which is often a picnic location for local muggles.
