Geocache Description:

LEAPING LEAP DAY LIZARDS

The Leap Day Lizard is known to appear for the first time only once every four years on 29th February. To celebrate this rare occasion, I have placed a cache to be published on that date. This might be helpful for those who need this date for filling in their hidden day chart.

The rare Leap Day Lizard has been seen leaping over the footbridge around Bado-Berong Creek in Stan Moses Reserve, Sans Souci. See if you can find it hiding in the trees. It was last seen leaping into the casuarina tree near the foot bridge that crosses the creek. This lizard doesn't leap high, so there is need to climb any structures, either natural or man/woman-made. Look for the Leap Day Lizard's natural camouflage. If you see small rocks then you are spot-on.

The Leap Day Lizard is somewhere between a micro and small, so if bringing along some SWAG or TBs, make it small. It has it's own camo, but likes to put some other natural camo on top to keep it out of sight. It doesn't carry writing utensils, so you will need to bring your own pen/pencil/writing stick. The Leap Day Lizard says "No signey, means no smiley!" Please replace the lizard and natural camo as found, so muggles will not notice it.

Can you tell if the hiding place is a She Oak or a He Oak? Write your answer in your log if you know.

Congratulations: FTF goes to .....
