Geocache Description:


This mystery is hidden inside North Mountain Park.  Its northern and eastern boundaries border the Gila River Indian Reservation.  This park is managed by the City of Casa Grande Parks Department.  Michael Edwards, Parks Superintendent has given us permission to place geocaches within the North Mountain Park (NMP).  NMP is a desert park.  Remember to bring water with you.  Creatures and plants may poke, sting, cut and/or bite.  Please dress appropriately.  The cache is NOT hidden at the posted coords.  The following information will give you the correct coords.

Ira Hayes (1923 - 1955) belonged to the Gila River Native American community.   He was born near Sacaton, Arizona which is north of the North Mountain Park.
