There are a lot of walnut trees along this stretch of the Des Plaines River Trail, and it's surprising how easy it is to slip and fall when the ground is covered with them. This image is not the host of the geocache, but it's a walnut tree just a couple of tenths of a mile farther down the trail. It's interesting how a tree will drop all its leaves in the fall, but still hang onto all those nuts. Be careful in the fall for falling walnuts, too!
