Chess Power Trail - Bishop
The bishop is a piece in chess that can move and capture along diagonals without jumping over intervening pieces. Each player starts with two bishops, one on a light square and one on a dark square. The bishop is worth three points, the same as a knight, but usually slightly stronger than a knight in open positions. The bishop can never change its square color, so it is important to coordinate the two bishops to control both colors.
