Gamer, what the HECK were you thinking when you came up with that cache title? Were you high on Nutella? Were you sick with bubonic plague? Were you grossly sleep-deprived?
No, no, no...it all makes sense (to me). Here, here...hear me out...
A -- AVENGERS: Take a look at the Geocaching or Google maps where this cache is located. Look at the waterway. It looks like the slanted A symbol from the Avengers!
CTW -- CROSSING THE WATER: I was first alerted to this area when I was driving southbound on the Ronald Reagan Turnpike and noticed the visually intriguing narrow dirt bridge crossing between the two lakes. At the time, I turned to everyone in the car and, pointing, said, "Wouldn't that be a super-cool place to hide a geocache or two?!?" In fact, a search of county land-use records suggested that lake area, including the crossover, was probably in an okay-to-hide geozone. So I made a point to plot a geocaching finding jaunt that would take me near enough to here that I could hide caches.
ISE -- INTO SECLUDED ENVIRON: When I found my way to the east end of the cool water-crossing path, I saw signs at the front of the land-bridge that made me question whether I'd get the thumbs up for a hide along the bridge. I might still attempt to submit a hide along it in the future, but I didn't want the container I'd had to be disallowed, so instead I decided to "act wise" and turned to the forest area to the east. I didn't like how much debris has been tossed onto both sides of the road, including into the forest...but, on the other hand, the forest was bereft of a geocache and it deserved some positive human interactions, there was a small pond to the east, and, in general, this whole area gets very little traffic (it's quite secluded)...and, dang it, I want people to see that cool land bridge!!
So....yeah..."ACT WISE" -- "Avengers Crossing The Water Into Secluded Environ". That's the name and I'm sticking with it!
