With two geocaches I would like to try to give the beautiful Gorge Varvara a little more presence. Here the Kipouristas flows and plunges into the valley to ultimately flow into the Mavrolakas.
There is a parking lot roughly in the middle between the two waterfalls of the Kipouristas, but this can only be reached with off-road vehicles. It makes sense to park common cars at the reference point I made.
Unfortunately, it must also be noted that the maintenance of the hiking trails and the signage at the starting point is neglected.
The small lake at the foot of the waterfall can only be reached via an adventurous path to the right site. On the last few meters to the bottom you have to overcome a wooden ladder, which is already missing a rung and therefore requires a larger step.
Waterfall #2 can also be reached via a hiking trail that leads directly to the lower level. But the car would have to be implemented for this purpose. The park coordinates would be these: N 40° 36.454, E 023° 43.991.
