Greetings space traveler! Are you ready to explore the galaxy with Star Tours? Find 6 CASC 2024 geocaches, stamp your passport, and turn it in at the SoCal Spring Fling mega event on May 4th, 2024 for a bounty. There are roughly 35 CASC geocaches to find, spread across all 10 SoCal counties. Cache across Southern California and explore the galaxy one world at a time!
Welcome to Alderaan!
Alderaan was the home planet of Princess Leia. Shortly after her capture by the the Galatic Empire, she was interrogated on the Death Star by her father (Darth Vader). She would not give the whereabouts of the Rebel base, the only threat against the expanding Galactic Empire. Therefore, her home planet was obliterated with a new space weapon: the Death Star. Chunks of Alderaan still orbit its sun in an asteriod belt called the Alderaanian Wasteland. It is illegal to disturb, tamper, or get too close to any Alderaanian asteroids as it now stands as a memorial to the billions of lives lost in an instant. There are two weekly flights to the Alderaan Wasteland out of Mos Eisley spaceport where travelers can pay their respects.

At the above coordinates you will find a plaque. In the "Please remember" box, on the first line there is a 3 word phrase in parentheses. Type this into certitude (without symbols) for part 2.
BYOP and use caution when hiking to GZ. Roundtrip is just about half a mile. Enjoy the view, but watch out for snakes and flying insects! It might be a good idea to bring a snake stick and water. Please replace the cache exactly as you found so that it doesn't get muggled.
