Known for its breathtaking icy landscapes and pristine snow-covered terrain, Ilum is a haven for travelers seeking both adventure and tranquility. Visitors to Ilum can embark on guided expeditions to discover the precious kyber crystals, delving into the mysteries of the Force while surrounded by the planet's serene beauty. These radiant crystals, coveted by Force-sensitive individuals throughout the galaxy, are imbued with immense power and serve as the heart of lightsabers for Jedi and Sith alike.
However, the tranquility of Ilum was shattered by the sinister presence of the First Order and its transformation of Ilum into Starkiller Base, a planet-sized superweapon capable of destroying entire star systems. As the battle raged on, the fate of the galaxy hung in the balance, with Rey harnessing the power of the Force to confront the darkness within Kylo Ren. The intense confrontation culminated in a cataclysmic explosion as the Resistance launched a daring assault to destroy Starkiller Base, illuminating the night sky of Ilum with the fiery demise of tyranny and oppression. Today, visitors can reflect upon this pivotal moment in galactic history while exploring the remnants of Ilum and the Starkiller Base, a testament to the enduring spirit of hope and resilience.
