This cache is placed beside the track between Anchorage and Cleopatra's pool. There was a bridge here but it was wiped out by a slip following heavy rain in August 2022. There is a new bridge under construction but the weakness of the surrounding separation point granite and the remoteness of the site mean that progress is slow.
You can still take the track but will need to wade across the river. Do NOT attempt the crossing if the river is in flood!
Please exercise stealth, lots of people use this track.
