Geocache Description:

27 April 2024, 13:00 - 15:00

Saturday April 27, 2024 1:00-3:00 in the meeting room of the Bemidji Public Library.

This year if you want to participate in the cache maker portion of the event you have to find something that is GAME related and make your cache out of that (I know not quite as fun as getting a mystery piece of junk from someone else).

Use your imagination but remember you cannot use tupperware or lock'n'lock containers or similar or a pb jar or pill bottle etc. as your container, you can use that inside your cache to hold the log, but not for the cache itself.

DO NOT tell what piece of the GAME you are using, we may need to figure that out for the prizes to be given, you know for most creative, most colorful, most transformed, least transformed or whatever I come up with to vote on this year. You can use an entire game or parts of a game as long as there is something recognizable as being from the game. It could be a board game- Life, Easy Money, Aggravation. Or just use the pieces- chess, topple, marbles (ok, yes marbles is actually it's own game). Yard games count too- jarts, croquet, Kubb. Sports count too as long as they are also a game- basketball, golf, frisbee, but not racing or figure skating. I hope you get the idea.

You DO NOT have to create a cache container to attend the event, everyone is welcome to come visit, try out the created caches and vote.

I sure wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of all our old games and I bet jeffrae is thinking the same thing.
