The Outback Inn

While I was hiking this area with a group of friends (Team Jackpot) for the other 2 tough hides in Italy Hill, we came upon the ambiguous Outback Inn.  This little shack was super cool, and completely out of place in the middle of the woods.  I suppose it acts as a reward for those who made it this far, especially if you take the full hike up Italy Hill, via Parking Option 1 (we did not take this route).  According to the log, this place was recently renovated somewhere around 2019, and serves as a place to spend the night for those who are willing to brave the wild wilderness!  It also appears to be built by the Finger Lakes Trail Org.  There are hooks for what appears to be up to 3 hammocks that can fit under the roof, and there are some places to sit down, and even a firepit.  There is also a little cabinet, for people to log their visits like a geocache, and some extra materials for camping.  **THIS IS NOT THE LOGBOOK FOR THIS CACHE**  If I can find someone who would into this type of camping, and invest in a real backpack designed for overnight backpacking trips, then I could see myself braving the night one of these days.

While exploring this area, I decided that this area could use a cache, because I think those who make it all the way up here deserve more than just that one oldie for number of finds.  You are looking for a small bison tube... Good Luck!
