The posted coordinates will take you to the entrance to Hudson’s Barlow Farm Park. This 60 acre park on Barlow Road is a center of active recreation. The park boasts 6 soccer fields, 4 ball diamonds, multi-purpose trail, two pavilions, playground equipment, a small pond and the recent additions of tennis and pickle ball courts. Parking coordinates and the final location will be provided in the checker. Do not park on the entrance road.
The Friends of Hudson Parks Geocaching Adventure is now in its 13th year. Each year there has been a new series of at least 6 caches placed throughout the Hudson Parks. There were two 6-month series placed the first year. Bonus caches were initially added to the series in 2016. Beginning in 2018, each series has consisted of various field/gadget/puzzle caches. The 2024 series again has 6 field/gadget caches and a bonus.
Find the last digit of the year for each of the following to get the combination to the lock: NOTE - 4/21/24 - I have just become aware that there is an issue with seeing archived caches on the geocaching.com site. It appears that it has now been corrected. Contact Muddy Dawgs if you are still finding this to be an issue.
1. The Placed Date for the first FOHP Mystery Cache
2. The Placed Date for the first FOHP Cache
3. The Archived date for the only FOHP cache not part of a series
4. Last “Found It” log date for the first FOHP BONUS cache
