The Curtiss Family Open Space preserve was acquired by the Town of Southington with the intent to preserve this land for the benefit and enjoyment of future generations. There are trails across these 34 acres. You can park at the far end of the church parking lot at 750 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, Southington, but please avoid the area when church is in session (you can park along South End Road - look for the sign). Permission to place this series was given by the Southington Open Space Committee.
After finishing, suggest taking the trail back the way you came around the pond vs. bushwhacking. They havent connected this side to the main parking area just yet.
