The townscape of Kiragawa was built by our ancestors as Binchotan charcoal flourished. It is a townscape formed by white walls, buildings with draining tiles, and Ishiguro. On October 31, 1997, it was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, a national cultural property.
吉良川のまちなみは、備長炭の繁栄と共に先人の手によって建築されました。白壁や水切り瓦の建物といしぐろなどにより形成されたまちなみです。平成9年10月31日に国の文化財である「重要伝統的建造物群保存地区に選定されました。
