Heading west? To get to the pullout, turn around at the Muddy Valley/Masonville Road junction, just ahead.
I bicycle this area frequently; this is always a nice stop.
While there, I've had others stop by, or they are there when I arrive... some are on the lookout for wildlife in the meadow below, others are stopping to pay their respects to someone who lost their life nearby.
That said, there's a small memorial at the base of the tree, please leave it be.
Note there's poison oak in the immediate area; if you don't know what PO looks like, then this is an opportunity to learn!
While setting this cache, I had sprayed the PO around the base of the tree and in the area, but it'll likely be back!
