Geocache Description:

Here is a cache to diversity the cache types in this area. It is a Letterbox Hybrid Cache located at the posted coordinates.

John Denver sings the song "Take Me Home, Country Roads" which has lyrics about blue water and the Shenandoah River.                                        My grandkids are growing up in this area and love to play in the river. For them this is home. For me home is where they are.

All you have to do is find this cache at the posted coordinates and then stamp and sign the logbook.
There is a small inkpad and stamp in the cache. (Stamp image is with the image of trees next to a lake with a rowboat).
Or, if you prefer --draw something.

Please leave the stamp and ink pad for the next cacher.

there is parking just west of the cache at a large pullout with access to the river.

Note: not wheelchair accessible, no need to get wet or go to the river, ther is also no cell service so come prepared.
