A small cache located with a great view of Gorey Castle also known as Mont Orgueil
This amazing fortress was built in 1212 under the Duchy of Normandy and was Jersey's forefront of defence until it was replaced by Elizabeth Castle in 1594. The castle was the seat of royal authority on Jersey throughout the medieval period and has served as a prison in the 1600's.
It is now a Grade 1 listed building and a tourist attraction, venue for weddings, concerts and art showings.
