中山公园
长洲岛是孙中山先生创建的黄埔军校所在地。市政府在20世纪90年代初就把将长洲发展建设成为一个以黄埔军校史迹为中心的综合性文化旅游风景区列入了规划蓝图，中山公园就是其中一项。中山公园建于2002年，以纪念孙中山先生和生态休闲慢岛为主题。被誉为“小鸟天堂”的湖心岛上栖息着白鹭、灰鹭、花鹩哥等多种野生鸟类。
Zhongshan Park
Changzhou Island is the location where Sun Yat-sen set up the Whampoa Military Academy. In the 90s, the Guangzhou government designated Changzhou Island as a spot to commemorate the revolutionary efforts of Sun Yat-sen and set up several cultural and tourism facilities, including Zhongshan Park and the Museum of 1911 Revolution next door. Zhongshan park was built in 2002 to commemorate Sun Yat-sen and promote ecological recreation. There is an island in the middle of the lake here that has been called “Birdie Paradise” where wild birds such as egret, heron and starling gather.
