こちらの広場は与那覇湾すぐの所にあり、巨大な宮古馬のモニュメントが印象的な広場。サニツ浜の干潟には渡り鳥が時折いるので観察スポットとしても有名。7月のサニツ浜カーニバル、10月の宮古角力大会をはじめとした様々なイベントが行われています。他にも与那覇湾がラムサール条約の登録湿地になった案内板もあります。
This square is located right next to Yonaha Bay, and features an impressive giant Miyako horse monument. It is also famous as an observation spot, as migratory birds sometimes appear on the tidal flats of Sanitsu Beach. Various events are held here, including the Sanitsu Beach Carnival in July and the Miyako Sumo Tournament in October. There is also a signboard explaining that Yonaha Bay has become a registered wetland under the Ramsar Convention.
