History of predececor -

Raining Cats and Dogs

Placed by GeoBen in 2013. He turned it over to me, To care for. Don’t think I ever did any maintenance

The theme was to extol the wet year of 2013, hence the name.

On replacing this now, I remembered I found it but forgot all details, like container, location etc.

It was a premium cache.

Rating 2 D and 2,5T, a tad high I think.

I’ve changed the container but left pretty much as was for location. And opened it up from premium to all to find (It had 159 finds)

I found in 2013 on the day it was listed- STF behind DomerDoc, this was her first FTF (she now has more FTFs than I have finds, I think)

My log was taken from from Jonathan Swift's 1710 poem, "A Description of a City Shower"

Ending: "Dead cats and turnip-tops, come tumbling down the flood"

Taxman joked: Even worse than raining cats and dogs is hailing taxicabs.

I supposed, if rain really came in buckets one might land on my head and knock me unconscious so I’d much prefer raining cats and dogs .

Cute little area below, Aquetong Creek and Ivyland RR

Thanks to all who stopped. Time to return now.
