Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but is a short walk away. This is a field puzzle.

The posted coordinates will take you to a lovely little rock garden near Snee Hall, the home of Cornell's Earth and Atmospheric Science (EAS) department. As an EAS major, I have a strong appreciation for Snee Hall as well as its highly underrated rock garden nearby. It will give you the answers you are looking for.

NORTH: Wollastonite, Granitic Gneiss, Manhattan Schist, Limestone (Lansing), Sandstone, Tremolitic Marble, Manhattan Schist.

WEST: Pop-Up Fold, Limestone (Lansing), Granitic Gneiss, Fossil Tree Stump, Iron Ore (Hematite), Fossil Tree Stump, Zinc Ore.

The coordinates are in the format N xx xx.xxx W xx xx.xxx.

Other Notes:

- these are muggle-dense areas, so please use stealth when retrieving the cache and hide as found, or better.

- the cache is more easily found in the winter, but is accessible year-round.

- both stages are wheelchair-accessible but may be slightly challenging due to construction and the cache placement.

- there is a sticker in the cache for the FTF! no trade necessary :)
