Geocache Description:

Many members of the Numata Kobayakawa clan sought their way to the sea. This is the castle of the Ura clan. The castle is located on a 25-meter-high hill that juts out into the sea at a strategic point for transportation. The Shounji Temple, located to the north of the castle, houses the image and tomb of Muneyoshi Ura, as well as other items related to the Ura family, who were the owners of the castle. To the west of the castle ruins is a deep bay, which is said to have once been a boatyard.
