Geocache Description:

"Paths of Glory" is a 1957 movie based on the novel of the same name by Humphrey Cobb. It is set during World War I and stars Kirk Douglas as Colonel Dax, the commanding officer of French soldiers who refuse to continue a suicidal attack. Dax attempts to defend them against charges of cowardice in a court-martial.

This cache is being placed in association with the NoVA Chapter of the Military Association of GeoCachers (MAGC) event held nearby each month.  If you haven't found the others in the series, they are all fairly close by, so I hope you have time to check them out.

The Final is located at: N 38o  AB.CDE W 077o FG.HIJ

The posted coordinates will bring you to the trail head of a paved path and street parking is available there. When you get close, you will have to leave the path to get to the cache and you'll be walking a short distance into a lightly wooded area that will be muddy and slippery after it rains. Be careful. Depending on the season, you might also encounter PI, thorns, insects and critters. Although not neccesarily a typical hide, this is a pretty simple cache that will be easy to spot when you get close. You will be visible from the nearby path and strangers are likely to be in the area, so stealth will be required.

Please search for this cache only during daylight hours and carefully replace it exactly as you found it.

You will need your own writing instrument. There is no room for SWAG or trackables. Tools are not needed to access the cache.
