For many years I hid caches in a series called "This Cache is Grandma Approved" that were (and still are) found frequently by cachers everywhere. I hid each one of these caches with my elderly grandma, much as the name would suggest. While the vast majority of these were easy guard rail caches, they were important to her as she was still able to feel a part of the game while enjoying it with her grandson, me. She went on gradually fewer rides over the last few years, and as a result, I didn't hide too many more in the series with her (although some of them easily could have been.)
After a ripe 94 years of life, my grandma passed away on March 7th. While she may be gone, I hope the legacy she left on the geocaching community around here can live on. Thank you to those that were kind to her over the years and enjoyed the "Grandma Approved" caches. You all meant a lot to her!
This cache is a very basic guard rail cache. While she was not physically present with me while hiding, I think the name of this is fitting as this is exactly the type of hide and location she enjoyed participating in. It's very close to one of the last caches I ever hid with her, which is the Throw it in Reverse cache located in an adjecent parking lot.
Please rehide this cache as found. Hope you enjoy.
