Drama Queen Pansy has a lot of time on her hands ever since her best friend, Persimmon, started a pre-med program. So she decided to put her free time and personality to good use by getting involved in community theater. She scheduled an audition for a local production of "Snow White" and did some research to help her prepare. Unfortunately, she ended up cast into a role other than the one that she'd coveted.
After sobbing hopelessly for weeks, Pansy decided that she needed singing lessons. She immediately hired a singing instructor. She explained in great detail to her teacher why it was vital that she up her singing game. What with all the musicals being produced locally, she needed to be pitch perfect to get the better roles. Obviously she wanted to be more than a SLEEPING dwarf!
Now she has her first homework assignment and has come out to the woods to practice her sight reading. She would read the music note, then sing it a cappella. To be sure she was pitch perfect, after she sang the note she would play it on her little keyboard. Make sure she had it correct. She would sing to the birds. Just like Snow White. Why, oh, why, didn't she get that role? She DESERVED that role. Well, next time auditions were called for a musical, she would be ready!
