Cache #197
THE STARTING COORDINATES ARE FALSE BUT NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO VISIT THE REFERENCE POINT TO GET THE LAST BIT OF INFORMATION - IT IS ONLY A SHORT WALK AWAY
Burrumbuttock is another small village in Greater Hume Shire. It is the home of innovative community-based threatened species project - the Squirrel Glider Local Area Management Plan (LAMP). These two websites provide information on the program which is a collaboration between government agencies, NGOs and local landholders - Wirraminna LAMP video and Landcare LAMP information
This is a bonus cache for Burrumbuttock - Shining a LAMP on Squirrel Gliders Adventure Lab Cache. You will need to collect the answers at each of the waypoints to solve the puzzle below. Before you do that you will have to (re)visit the Squirrel Glider Bus Shelter (see reference point) and find the answer to the following question based on the information on the north side.
There is a three digit number that describes the number of stock proof tree guards guards that have been installed as part of the LAMP. Add the three numbers together and this becomes F. The cache can be found at:
S 35° 49.ABC′ E 146° 48.DEF′
You are looking for a sistema container hidden down low. Take care with traffic nearby (though there probably won't be much) and like many Australian bush caches, snakes might be an issue in the warmer months.
Enjoy!
