This cache is the first of a series of caches exploring the little tucked away parks of beautiful Lansdowne PA! Between geocaching, highly recommend walking around and enjoying the eclectic duplexes and romantic Victorian houses, 81 of which were built in the 1890s.
This particular park was built to help manage erosion by better controlling runoff to Darby Creek. With new trees planted, flowers, and some benches, it is a lovely place to let your dogs play, or to watch for ducks swimming in the shallow water. The park itself is quite small, and has two entrances.
The new cache has been added as of July 11, 2025, a little further within the park, and is now the 2nd of the bird hotel series. The cache offers high rise views at low rates for our winged friends, with a view away from the park entrance for privacy. It may be necessary to give a little push to the cache door before pulling, as it can get a little stuck.
