Geocache Description:

This is a small cache container with room for trackables and smaller swag. Please be mindful of your surroundings and respect the property.

Earth is special, our conditions are just right for life.  Life as we know it requires three ingredients: energy, organic molecules, and liquid water.  Scientists have been searching for water as they explore space.  You can find water in our solar system here:

Water on planets in the Solar System

Mercury: Frozen water.

Venus: Basically no water at all.

Earth: Lots of water in all forms (liquid, ice, vapour).

Mars: Ice, trace amounts of vapour, possibly some liquid water underground.

Jupiter: Water in frozen and vapour form.

Saturn: Water in frozen and vapour form.

Uranus: Frozen water.

Neptune: Frozen water.

Do any dwarf planets have water?

Pluto: Frozen water.

Ceres: Some frozen water, possibly underground liquid water.

Permission has been given by Jeffrey Heberer from the Markesan Water Facility.
