Geocache Description:

Generations of familes are often buried in the same cemetery. Forest Center Cemetery is one of those. The posted coordinates will take you to Corp Charles V Cummings. He was a Corporal in Company H 3rd WI infantry during the Spanish/American war. Unfortunately, he died at the age of 22 in Puerto Rico.

His father, DeEstin Jeremiah Cummings is buried here as is his grandfather Orin C Cummings. The oldest grave in the cemetery belongs to his great grandfather Jeremiah Cummings. Jeremiah fought in the war of 1812 and was a Private in Lt. Muzzy's N.Y. Militia.

Use info at the posted coordinates to solve for the final:

N44 46.ABC  W091 48.DEF

ABC= Year of birth  minus 1185

DEF= Year of death minus 1779

Note: The final is not in the cemetery. However, if there is a service going on, or folks are visiting their loved ones when you arrive, please be respectful and come back at a later time. Your understanding and compassion for those folks will be appreciated. Enjoy!
