The idea of our “catch up by the water” events is to explore different areas via geocaching. Whether it be a river, a lake, the ocean or a waterfall there is something special about being by water so let’s combine them together. Welcome to event #3 😊

Time: 10:30am – 11:00am
Where: Alexandra Gardens, Ararat
Parking: Vincent Street or Beveridge St, near the café, footy oval
An opportunity to meet other cachers and talk all things geocaching at this lovely spot. Bring along any trackables you would like discovered or moved on. At the lake there are beautiful gardens including a walk-in fernery, Japanese Island, sealed walking paths, ornamental lake, playground and café.
Additionally, there are toilets, picnic tables and BBQ’s located nearby if you wish to stay longer. Dogs permitted on lead. A BYO chair or picnic rug could be handy as it is a popular spot.
