Here’s another 2024 hide submittal. As my K9K8 nickname indicates: I love dogs! In my mind all puppies are “Diamonds In The Ruff”.
The phrase “Diamond In The Rough” is a person of exceptional character or potential but lacking polish and refinement. “Diamond In The Rough” can be considered a compliment. If someone calls you this, it means they think you have promise. Some examples of the opposite of a diamond in the rough: rogue, lowlife, miscreant, ne’er-do-well, rascal, rapscallion, scallywag, and scoundrel.
Raw diamonds, also known as rough diamonds, are uncut and unpolished gems that have been extracted directly from the Earth. Unlike their polished counterparts, which display a brilliant sparkle and fire, raw diamonds often have a rough exterior and may resemble ordinary rocks or pebbles.
Should pretty much be a grab and go. And yes, I found it while I was geocaching and just had to make use of it…… Always keep your guard up when geocaching or socializing with animals of any kind.
