Be prepared for a short but rugged hike through this pristine piece of undeveloped Metro Parks property called the Hundred Acre Wood. Since there are no trails, adventure surely awaits you as you search for this well-hidden cache. How you get there is up to you! Dogs must be on a leash.
Putting on the GeoTrail every year takes a lot of work, and we couldn't do it without the help from the geocaching community. Thanks to oO_KorenAdventure_Oo for helping us look after this cache!
The Dark Fishing Spider is one of the largest spiders in Ohio, and it often inspires fear when encountered. However, they are not dangerous to people. The female is actually one of the great animal mothers; she protects her eggs by carrying the egg sac in her mouth, then watches over the babies once they hatch in a special “nursery web.”
