The "La Boñiguera" pilgrimage is a tradition based on a promise made by the inhabitants of Ontaneda in the mid-18th century, when a cholera epidemic caused most of the village's population to disappear due to the plague. It is also "the festival of Sel del Tojo" and is held on the first Saturday in June in honour of the patron saint, Santa Isabel.

Por su parte, la romeria de "La Boñiguera" es una tradición que parte de la promesa hecha por los vecinos de Ontaneda a mediados del siglo XVIII cuando una epidemia de cólera hizo que la mayoría de la población del pueblo desapareciese por esta peste. Es también "la fiesta de Sel del Tojo" y se celebra el primer sábado de junio en honor a la patrona, Santa Isabel.

The procession of the virgin departs from the church of Ontaneda at around 11:15h until it reaches the chapel of Santa Isabel, in Sel del Tojo, where the pilgrims from Ontaneda, after mass at 13:00h, enjoy a blanqueo and a picnic lunch in this nearby field, accompanied by the songs and music of the region. The fiesta bar is set up on the left side of the hermitage.

La procesión de la virgen parte sobre las 11:15h desde la iglesia de Ontaneda hasta llegar a esta ermita de Santa Isabel, en Sel del Tojo, donde los romeros de Ontaneda, después de la misa de las 13:00h, se toman en esta campa cercana el blanqueo y la comida campestre animados con los cánticos y la música de la región. El bar de la fiesta se instala en el lateral izquierdo de la ermita.
