Lochshore Park is the newly developed site of the former Glengarnock Steelworks and covers around 250 hectares, including Kilbirnie Loch. There are beautiful accessible circular walks both around the side of the loch and the park with areas of woodland, moorland, wetland and wild flower meadows. It is becoming popular with cyclists and walkers alike, so you must be sneaky to avoid the stares of muggles while searching.
To find this cache you'll need to hop a ditch or cross an old railway sleeper. Search the trees and perform a simple task to obtain the cammo pouch. You may need a long stick. Please check the cache is properly secured as you found it!
You can park for free, there is a cafe on site for hot drinks and food, there are rugby matches at the weekend which can become quite busy.
