You will need to practise some stealth in this area as it is a busy place in the summer months, as well as spring and fall. There is a bit of a short incline to navigate at GZ, which prompts the terrain rating. Although there is writing stick inside it is always a good practice to BYOP. As this cache is kid friendly, original contents are also kid friendly. Although the Pike Lake Provincial Park is open for exploring year round, an entry fee to get into this park is required from May long weekend to the September long weekend inclusive. The shoulder seasons are quieter and are our favourite time to come to explore while getting some fresh air and excercise in a variety of ways. In winter, the chickadees will excitedly greet you so bring some seed along to share with them. As a side note, we do check our physical cache logs. You are required to sign the physical log sheet - failing to do so will result in a deleted entry without notification. We hope you enjoy your time in the park in whatever way makes you happy!
