Geocache Description:

I'm using this cache to introduce the newest library in our little town of Lawrence Park. Elbow Tree Park, located in Lawrence Park, is a natural park where the plant life is left to grow as it naturally would. Only the gravel paths throughout the park and the outskirts of the pak itself are maintained. The rest is allowed to grow as it normally would do in nature. Some thinning of dead or dying trees are done for safety.

This park is named after a huge tree that was named the Elbow Tree. It was basically the icon of Lawrence Park. Everyone used to visit the tree and many wedding photos were taken there. Unfortunately it died several years ago but has been replaced. The replacement is still small in stature but maybe someday it will reach the heights of it's predessor. I've include a waypoint to the new Elbow Tree's location in the park.

Back to the cache, the hide should be a quick one to locate. It can be found at the southeast corner of the park. You may also find something else that you may want to check out too. It may be "Free" but you still must bring something along to trade in case you do. There's even a bench right next to the hiding spot to assist in examining the contents or just for a rest.
