Geocache Description:

Here is Number 4 in my Series: Play It Loud...

Ladies and Gentleman Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.

The song Radio Nowhere is the lead track from the 2007 album Magic. This was Bruce and the band's first album together since 2002. Magic met critical acclaim and went Platinum (1,000,0000 Albums Sold) in the US. Radio Nowhere won 2 Grammys, Best Rock Song and Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance. One of the reasons I like to play Radio Nowhere loud, in my opinion, is that it is different than a lot of Springsteen's other songs. It is very guitar-forward. From the opening - In Bruce's own words: the Screaming Guitars, the tempo is set, Quick and Loud. With Max Weinberg's driving beat on drums the song never slows down.

I have been a fan of Springsteen for many years. A lot of his music is introspective and tells stories of desire, love, loneliness and just trying to get through life, but not Radio Nowhere, it just rocks. I saw Bruce and the ESB way back in 1985 and then 38 years later. They didn't play Radio Nowhere, but I saw a great show with 2 of my kids... So as you drive to grab this cache play some music LOUD! Radio Nowhere is a good choice, but play what ever you want. Copy and paste the link below to see a great live version of Radio Nowhere and remember to Play It Loud!!!
