We were here to fix a possibly missing cache and decided we needed to leave a few more for folks to find. This one is at the beginning to the track that loops around the lake. Mid-week in April and there were already 8-10 boats out fishing on the lake.
TAKE NOTE THAT THE ENTIRE LOOP HAS DETERIORATED SINCE WE WERE HERE LAST TIME. WE RECOMMEND TAKING THE LEFT HAND SPUR IN TO THE LAKE AS IT IS BY FAR THE BETTER MAINTAINED. TO MAKE THE TRIP CLOCKWISE ALL THE WAY AROUND THE LAKE REQUIRES A HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLE THAT DOESN'T MIND NEW DETAILING, AN EXPERIENCED OFF-ROAD DRIVER, AND NERVES OF STEEL! IF THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE YOU, MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE BACK AFTER THE LAST CACHE!
