Seeing that the good folk of Earlwood/Kingsgrove, Winston Hills, Wetherill Park and Dolan’s Bay all seem to have dropped the pass (having the obvious opportunity provided by a thoroughfare bearing the name ‘Homer’, and yet no cache that recognises this) it’s obviously up to those of us with streets whose name is slightly more tangential to the great man to take up the weight of responsibility and celebrate him. Thus a few lines of epic ballad* from the lips of the man himself:
