Walk past the Wetland Conservation Area sign and continue straight (not over the bridge). Did you think that the creek was "dry?" Well, guess again! During the dry season, water flows underground from places like Coke Oven Park (cache: GCKMTC) and begins to emerge from the ground near here. Downstream, in any season, there is always water.
Directly across the creek, there is an interesting view of the wetlands, which this creek will eventually help to feed.
You are looking for a small tubular waterproof container, not on the ground as this area is prone to flooding after heavy rains. (It IS a Wetland!) Please replace exactly as found.
Note: Do not attempt this cache if the area is flooded. This is a daylight only cache. Poison ivy will (of course ...) be found in the vicinity.
