Part of a series of family friendly caches in my local park. They were placed by a 9 year old, so hopefully other mini-geocachers might be able to find them too! There's an assortment of containers for you to find.
Barr Beacon is the highest point in Walsall with amazing views across the West Midlands. There are two parking areas - these apparently get locked to prevent entry each night, but the exits still allow you to escape - at least that's the theory! There are lots of pedestrian access points which are always open. It can be quite windy up here but you get great views!
The tiny little forest was planted in 2022 as part of the Commonwealth Games environmental legacy. This tiny forest represents Guyana, part of the commonwealth, and is named after their National Bird.
The cache isn't actually in the tiny forest (the trees are still way too tiny!) but is very close near a great perch for a pheasant. You're looking for a black bison.
